A wine professional born and raised in Lima, Peru. Wine has always been my passion, and I am fortunate to channel that passion into my work as a blogger and video content creator focusing on the fascinating world of wine.
Growing up in Lima, I was exposed to a vibrant culinary scene that sparked my curiosity for flavors and the art of pairing food and wine. I developed a deep appreciation for the way wine enhances the dining experience and wanted to share that joy with others.
In this digital age, social media has become a powerful platform for connecting with wine enthusiasts across the globe. I leverage platforms like Instagram to curate stunning visuals of vineyards, wine tastings, and wine-related experiences. Through my posts, I aim to transport my followers to the vineyards, immersing them in the beauty and magic of wine culture.
Having completed the WSET Level 3 Advanced Course and moving on to the Diploma program, I dream of becoming the first Peruvian-American Master of Wine and inspiring more LatinX wine professionals to pursue the program.

Making wine more inclusive
I have been featured in Decanter Magazine as Wine’s New Voices and have partnered with regions such as Wines of Uruguay, Wines of Chile, Wines of Brazil, and other companies such as Vermanonte Wines, Maisons & Domaines Henriot America and Champagne Henriot, Escudo Rojo, Viña Progreso & others in marketing efforts on my Instagram page (@roberto.uncorks) that has grown to over 4k followers in just one year, with reels gathering 15K views on average.
One of my most fulfilling roles is being a team member of Hispanics in Wine, an organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the wine industry. As a proud member of this group, I work alongside other talented individuals to amplify the voices and contributions of Latin American wine professionals. We strive to create a more inclusive and representative industry where everyone can thrive and contribute unique perspectives.
